Sizing and performance

The resources a YTCC server needs depend on the number of signals, their update rate, the number of drivers and the history you record. Check the load of your own project with the tools on this page.

Watch the load of your project​

  • The Processes tab of the home page shows the CPU and memory of every YTCC process. See Manage the YTCC processes.
  • The archive table planner in the configuration editor shows the size and the growth per day of each archive table. Use it to estimate the disk space the history needs. See Archive tables and assignments.
  • The system signals System.Historian.* show disk use and the size of the history; you can record them and put them on a screen. See System, alarm and session signals.
  • The disk and history alarms warn before the disk is full. See Disk and history protection.
