Export data
Every list and trend can be taken out of YTCC for a report or an analysis. The export always contains what the list shows at that moment: the same filters, the same order and, for lists, the visible columns.
Before you begin
- The project is running, and the screen or list with the data is open.
Steps
1. Export a trend as CSV
On the run screen, open Trend (see the operator guide), choose the signals and the time range, and click CSV. The
file trend-YYYYMMDD-HHMM.csv has:
| Column | Content |
|---|---|
time | Start of each interval, ISO 8601 in UTC |
<path> [<unit>] avg, min, max | Average, minimum and maximum of each signal in the interval |
Comma-separated, decimal point, UTF-8 with BOM, so Excel opens it directly. An interval without data has empty cells. Convert the time to local time in your evaluation if needed.
In the Energy view of the trend, the file has one row per period instead:
| Column | Content |
|---|---|
time | Start of the period, ISO 8601 in UTC |
period | The period as shown on the chart, in local time |
<path> [<unit>] | Energy of the period |
<path> [<unit>] status | Empty, or incomplete, reset or running; several are joined by a vertical bar |
The Trend and Trend Table objects, the Analysis Chart and the Charts windows have an Export menu with Excel (.xlsx), CSV (.csv) and HTML report (.html); all except the Trend Table also offer Image (.png). YTCC asks where to save the file.
2. Export the event list as Excel
On the Event list, set the filters and columns, then click Download Excel. The file contains the matching rows with the visible columns, in the list order, with the time in the local time of your browser. At most 1 000 000 rows, and at most three exports run at the same time.
3. Export alarms
On the alarm list or the alarm history, click Download and choose Excel (.xlsx), CSV (.csv), HTML report (.html) or Image (.png). Alarm exports contain at most 1 000 000 rows; see Alarm history.
4. Export the signal list
In the configuration editor, Export on the signal grid writes its rows to a file; see Import and export signals.
Result
The file is downloaded by the browser.
Limits
- A trend has at most 8 signals; history readouts are divided into at most 2000 intervals.
